We all want to have the best experience possible when searching for a point of interest or while calculating routes for navigation. We want a system providing valuable guidance when we are driving to our destination. This is why NDS association member HERE provides monthly map updates in the NDS format to their customers like Volvo. With NDS supporting incremental map updates, Volvo cars can now download these updates “over the air”, accessible in many markets. Using a mobile data connection, the update will allow navigation systems to access external changes of the map on the road.
